Recurrent AI – Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Current Finance Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use Recurrent AI, an intelligence module within the Recurrent platform that provides property valuations and market insights across sales, rentals, and short‑term rentals (STRs).
Recurrent AI uses machine learning, statistical models, and aggregated market data to generate indicative values and insights. We are committed to handling your data responsibly, lawfully, and transparently.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary for contractual or legal reasons; in such cases we will apply heightened safeguards or seek explicit consent where required.
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
- Contractual necessity – to provide valuations and insights you request.
- Legitimate interests – to secure and improve the service, prevent fraud, and develop features.
- Consent – where required (e.g., marketing communications, optional analytics).
- Legal obligations – to comply with applicable laws and requests from authorities.
4. How We Use Data
- Provide property valuations and market insights across sales, rentals, and STRs.
- Operate, maintain, and improve models (including training, testing, evaluation).
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Generate aggregated, anonymised market intelligence reports (no user identification).
- Fulfil legal, regulatory, and auditing requirements.
5. Model Training & Anonymisation
- Where permitted, we may use anonymised and aggregated user‑provided and usage data to train, evaluate, and improve our AI and statistical models. We remove or obfuscate personal identifiers before using data for these purposes. You may opt out of model‑training use of your data (except where strictly necessary for security or service functionality) by contacting us at privacy@current.ng.
6. Sharing & Disclosures
- Service providers / processors – cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, identity verification, OTA integrations.
- Partners – where you enable specific integrations (e.g., OTA rates/availability), we share only what is necessary.
- Legal – if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud.
- Business transfers – as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to continued protections.
We do not sell personal data.
7. International Data Transfers
We may process and store data in countries outside your own (including the EU/UK/US). Where applicable, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses, intra‑group agreements, or comparable mechanisms) to protect your data in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

Recurrent AI is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.
13. Data Protection Impact & Assessments
For higher‑risk processing (e.g., large‑scale analytics, new data categories), we assess privacy risks and implement safeguards proportionate to the risk, including pseudonymisation, minimisation, and access controls.
14. Sub‑Processors
We maintain a list of material sub‑processors (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications). Upon request, we can provide the current list and notify you of material changes as required by law or contract.
15. Incident Response
We operate an incident response process. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and/or relevant authorities as required by applicable law, including information on the nature of the breach and recommended actions.
16. Third‑Party Links & Integrations
Recurrent AI may integrate with third‑party platforms (e.g., OTA booking sites, verification providers). Your use of those services is subject to their privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. If changes are material, we will provide prominent notice (e.g., in‑app notice or email). Your continued use of Recurrent AI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
